Tom’s History in Real Estate
Tom has been working in the Park Cities & other Dallas neighborhoods for over 38 years. During that time he has closed over 2750 transactions, selling a total of over $1 billion in houses and properties.
Tom is a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), a Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI), and a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM)–a feat accomplished by less than 1% of all brokers. In addition, he has been the top producer for each company he’s worked with, and has been consistently recognized over the last decade as one of the "Top 10 Realtors in Dallas County." Tom is also listed in Who’s Who in Residential Real Estate and served on the Professional Standards Committee for the Metro-Tex Board of Realtors.
Tom is a graduate of Highland Park High School and graduated from the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Virginia, where he received his B.A. in Economics. Tom served in the United States Marine Corps from 1968-1972 flying in F-4 Phantom jets as a RIO.
Tom is married to his beautiful wife, Suzy, who have 5 children, 9 grandchildren, and are members of Highland Park United Methodist Church.
Growing up in the Park Cities is one thing, growing up in a family where residential real estate was discussed every night at the dinner table is quite another. As a third generation Park Cities resident, Burton has extensive knowledge of the Park Cities and surrounding areas. He understands the market, knows first hand the value of providing superior customer service, and delivers the high standard demanded by clients in this area.
Burton is a graduate from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin and has been in the real estate industry since 1999. In 2004, Burton was named by D Magazine as one of the Best Residential Realtors in Dallas – Up and Comers. Subsequently, D Magazine has named Burton as one of the Best Real Estate Agent in Dallas every year since 2005.
Neil has been working with The Rhodes Group since 2002 and has been selling everything from M-Street Tudors, to historical Swiss Avenue homes, to Lakewood new construction, to multi-family investment properties. Having graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.B.A. and having earned a Master’s Degree in Sports Management, Neil brings an exceptional educational and business sense to The Rhodes Group.
With a background in sales for one of the largest sports marketing companies in the country, Neil is able stay ahead of the market, deliver professional service, and negotiate tough deals for his clients.
In 2004, Neil was named by D Magazine as one of the Best Residential Realtors in Dallas – Up and Comers.
When you grow up with Tom Rhodes as your father, it is difficult not to be passionate about real estate – and Thomas is passionate about real estate. Having grown up in the Park Cities, Thomas understands the Park Cities’ real estate market and the surrounding areas. Thomas also brings to his clients a breadth of real estate knowledge including retail real estate leasing, distressed debt, and residential investment sales. His action-oriented and disciplined approach to real estate helps provide his clients with superior customer service and timely market knowledge.
Thomas is a graduate of Highland Park High School, and he also graduated with Academic Honors & Distinction from the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Virginia, where he received his B.A. in Economics and Business.
Thomas is married to his beautiful wife – Molly, has 2 children, and are members at Watermark Community Church.
A fifth generation Dallasite, Dan grew up in the Park Cities in an actively involved real estate family. Dan attended Washington and Lee University, and obtained his MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. Areas of specialization include Park Cities, Preston Hollow, Devonshire, and Bluffview.
With a background in professional services and project management, Dan brings attention to detail, organization, and experienced customer service to his clients. He is committed to long-term client relationships, achieved through his philosophy of open and honest communication and a responsible and confident representation in each transaction.
With over 35 years in residential real estate, Janet serves as the manager of our team. She has extensive knowledge in every aspect of the business and has worked for The Rhodes Group for over 20 years. She is an integral part of The Rhodes Group as the transaction coordinator - insuring that all of our clients have a stress free closing experience.
Janet started her real estate career in Houston, Texas where she was a top producer and office manager over three offices. She worked for Helena Underwood Realtors for 10 years as an agent and office manager before coming to work for Tom Rhodes jr. in 1993. Janet raised two children in the Park Cities and now has 5 beautiful grandchildren.
Nina is the listing coordinator for The Rhodes Group. She has been in residential real estate since 2009. Nina grew up in real estate with a mother who is consistently a top producer in Illinois. She has a true love and passion for real estate. She is energetic, innovative, diligent, and focused on the client.
Nina earned her bachelor’s degree in Advertising from Southern Methodist University. In addition to her professional endeavors, Nina has been involved in volunteer work at the Dallas Museum of Art, Genesis Women’s Shelter, and the Junior League of Dallas. She currently resides in the Park Cities with her husband, Decker and daughter, Rose.
